Qualifications:
This position is for a Native-English speaker. Other requirements: 4-year degree from an accredited university in a relevant field; at least 3 years experience teaching children’s classes; basic Japanese is a plus.
Duties:
Primary duties will be leading the creation of dynamic, practical, fun and interactive children’s programs for three stages of Chicago KIDS classes. This is a very active, high-energy position requiring a good rapport with children. General course requirement guidelines will be provided by the Director of Curriculum Development. Secondary (but no less important) duties include teaching English Conversation to all ages in classes such as: Universal Communication, Natural Speech, and Standardized Test Preparation.
No more than five 60-minute classes will be taught each day.
Hours:
This will be a full-time, 5-day, 40-hour work-week position with a one-hour daily lunch break. The exact schedule is somewhat negotiable, but at least one weekend day is required. Please contact us to discuss your availability.

Starting salary is 300,000 yen/month with two weeks paid vacation the first year.
